1) How do I post a message?
Depending on how the administrator setup his/her forum, you may have to register and login before doing this.
After that, you have to have posting permission to be able to do this on any given forum. If you do not have posting permission, then you will not see this option available to you in the viewtopic page.
If you do have permission, then in viewboard or viewtopic, you will be able to either Post a new message or Reply to an existing message by clicking on the specified posting button.

2) What is tFCode?
In most situations, html is disabled by the administrator. To allow you to perform html style effects on your post, tFCode is there to provide this ability as an alternative.
tFCode is a set of codes that allow you to produce common html or text effects such as using the bold, underline or italic tags.
tFCode has the advantage of being easy to use, and of being immune to javascript and layout interruptions so this makes your posts functional, easy to modify, and safe. To use tFcode, either use the icons located above the message window, or simply type into the message. The tFcode list for your forum can be found here.

3) What are Emoticons and how do I use them?
The trouble with online chat, forum postings, and email is that anything said in them is open to misinterpretation.
Emoticons are clusters of punctuation such as :) and :> that are used to set the tone for the sentence that precedes them. The knack to interpreting them is to tilt your head sideways to the left and look for a facial expression.
To use emoticons, either click on the list located above the message window, or simply type them in. The emoticon list for your forum can be found here.

4) How do I upload a file?
Again, you can only upload a file if the administrator allows you to have that permission.
If you do, then you would post a new message, then you would see an option to attach a file, and a button called 'Browse ...' Click on the browse button and a new window will popup asking you to choose a file to attach. Browse through your directory to find the file you wish to attach and click on Open.
After that, submit your message and the upload process will begin.

5) I uploaded a file but when I previewed my message it was gone. Why?
At this time, there is no way of keeping that information from page to page during preview.
In later versions, we may include a temporary table to allow for uploading in this manner, but it is not available now and previewing will not upload nor holdover that information.
