Off Roading and Geocaching Extravaganza.
We started out by placing a cache in Fish Creek, and then proceeded to "The Slot".
The Slot is a slot canyon that you can drive part way up, and then walk the rest of the way.
Pictured here is the walking part. After going up The Slot, we drove thru the washes of the
desert floor, eventually heading to Font's Point, the Borrego Badlands overlook.
All this while we were geocaching(
www.geocaching.com), hunting the caches
left by others in the desert. We then reached Font's Point, were we pretty much ended our day
after hiding one cache, finding 6 caches and one geological survey disk, and traveling about
100 miles on the desert floor.
